The McLean Course in Electrodiagnostic Medicine is the result of a course that a team of residents lead by the late Jim McLean designed in 2004 at the Kessler Institute . The purpose of the course is to give residents practical experience in electrodiagnostic principles and to advance their comprehension of such concepts . The course is now a component of the Kessler Institute’s official curriculum , is offered each spring at the Annual AAP Meeting and is on the curricula of numerous other significant institutions .
